MOMENT AWAY FROM “ LIVING “
A scene, a glimpse of nature
in its rare mood perhaps.
A ray of sunshine
on a single leaf of a bush –
beheld by me and none else
on a very ordinary evening ;
A song- a song not famous
for its music – but one
which touches some unknown
chord
in the recess of my heart
And I wish … this scene,
this song, this moment could
freeze in timeless time…..
But I know it is wishful thinking-
It is just a moment away
from
the humdrum life
A moment which will
merge back
where it left
and I shall find myself
back in the race of life
without time to spare
a thought
for this moment that was..
this little time I had known life
apart from its mundane routine
of living , loving , giving, hurting
and suffering.
Yet I know
some day unawares and unexpected
I shall hear the same music
see a similar scene …….
Until then I shall be one
with the
milling ,jostling, crowding world
in its race of
‘living’.
